Our commitment

At terito.govt.nz, we aim to protect and promote te reo Māori as part of the education sector’s contribution to the whole-of-government Māori Language Strategy, the Maihi Karauna.

This means we are part of the public service effort to support a strong, healthy, thriving Māori language in New Zealand through our visuals, tone, language, and content. Kia māhorahora te reo – everywhere, everyway, for everyone, every day.
